Bucharest, February 6^th, 2025 - ALTEN Romania is proud to announce that together with Raiffeisen Bank Romania, as a technology partner, we have launched the digital platform that enables small and medium-sized enterprises to become customers, through a 100% online experience, in less than 15 minutes.

The new SME enrollment platform, through which Raiffeisen Bank Romania achieves an important goal in the digitalization and remote trading strategy, is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized companies with a single shareholder, registered with RECOM. With the latest development, SMEs benefit from a fast, 100% digital enrollment experience, back-office flows no longer require manual work and become fully automated, whereas Raiffeisen Bank employees gain access to efficient tools and flows for monitoring, reporting, administration, and marketing.

Before the launch, entrepreneurs could only start a relationship with the bank by visiting a branch. Now, it takes just 15 minutes, an internet connection, a phone, and email access. Through the platform, entrepreneurs can open a business account in just 5 steps, selecting from a range of personalized service packages and bank cards to suit their needs. Once the process is complete, they gain immediate access to the Raiffeisen Online IMM internet banking app, where they can efficiently manage their business's financial flows and transactions.

The new digital platform, already tested in a pilot program with potential SME customers, is now available to the general public. It is designed to expand its scope in the future, accommodating additional company types, such as those with multiple shareholders or professionals in liberal practices, while introducing new functionalities in subsequent development phases.

Developed entirely in the cloud, the platform adheres to all RBI Group security standards. Its modern architecture, based on microservices and decoupled business logic, ensures scalability and flexibility to support any growth scenario. Integrations with Namirial for electronic signatures and Onfido for OCR processing and identity verification enhance and streamline the digital experience.

This innovative digital solution for SMEs is the result of a collaborative effort of the teams from Raiffeisen Bank and ALTEN Romania.
